Relatively new Motorhome owners found the park excellent well kept grass , stunning views of Ullswater .Our pitch as large and directly opposite the washing and showers which where of a high standard no issues with the park will stay again able to take a short walk to Pooley bridge with our three dogs and three pubs are fully dog friendly as is the main cafe /restaurant which over looks the river and outside terraces

Don’t normally do holiday parks so wasn’t sure what to expect, but this park went way past are expectations.Arrived on a very wet cold day and to walk in the lodge with the heating on was so lovely.Hot tub was on waiting for us to get in.All staff went out of their way to help with anything you needed.

We book meadow Croft every time been staying there over 10 years now. Love the views over the lake and mountains so relaxing. They’re a few little things that need looking at now . Some better pillows would be nice. Also in the lounge maybe a a clock and a lamp, rug and new light shade’s. Needs a bit of a up date. All staff treat us like family there the best love them all. The site grounds are kept to a very high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful.The views are magnificent.The shower and toilet block is very smart.Our only criticism is the shower heads are poor as the whole floor gets soaked and the spray is painful so you can’t enjoy your shower.We will definitely come again as we love Hillcroft.

Excellent facilities throughout

This site is incredible & has everything we look for. Beautiful location, absolutely fabulous clean amenities and friendly, helpful staff. It is a short walk to the lovely village of Pooley Bridge where there are some lovely cafes and pubs to have lunch, coffee & drinks and access to a bus service to nearby towns and villages for a £2 fare. There are some picturesque walks around Ullswater or take the Steamer around it. It is one of our favourite sites. It is certainly worth the money and we will return again and again.

Really enjoyed our long weekend here. Site was clean and well laid out. Facilities were spotless and had plenty of toilets, showers and hot water. Staff are lovely and friendly too. There is a kids play area and games room in site along with a small shop. The village of Pooley Bridge is a few minutes walk with plenty of eating places and pubs/hotels/restaurants and a few shops.nwe will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay
