First class facilities and a beautiful, well kept Park. Easy walking distance to the centre of lovely Pooley Bridge.Our third time staying here.

Lovely Spring break with clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly welcome and well tended paths and gardens. Views of mountains, fields and lambs.A short walk to friendly village shops and eateries, bookshop café. A regular bus service to nearby Penrith, Glenridding, Patterdale, links to rail and further afield for exploring. Close to Ullswater lake boat trips, and walks. Weekend evening visits from a mobile fish and chip van and other foods, very handy.A short drive from the M6 makes it a very accessible holiday destination. Combine trips round Ullswater with a short drive or buses to a jewel of a Lake District town, Keswick. Bustling, yet more stunning mountains and another lake for walks, boat trips. Hillcroft Park is a good base for complete rest or more energetic cycling, walking, touring, in lovely scenery. A credit to the hard working dedicated family and experienced team who run this site, from camping, glamping, caravans, lodges and the large bungalow we stayed in

Lovely well kept site with amazing 5* toilets & Showers. Easy walk into Pooley Bridge with lots of pubs to eat & drink in. Boat trips are available and a bus service to Keswick and surrounding beauty spots. Plenty of walks too.

A top class camping site which caters for all, Friendly and welcoming staff a nice little shop on site well stockedThe amenities showers toilets and wash facilities are excellent It’s a short walk down to the lakeside, Steamer for a trip along the lake, village with quite a few restaurants and cafesPlus a very good Bus Service to get around the area.We will definitely be visiting again.

Site is nice, well kept and maintained. Facilities were kept immaculate throughout the stay. Really disappointing to find the play park locked off during the entire stay during the Easter break. Having small children this was a shame for them. Would have given 5 stars if not let down by the play park.

This was our 4th visit to Hillcroft and it is always a wonderful holiday for the family. Despite the weather and the winds from storm Kathleen we were welcomed by a warm, extremely clean and well equipped lodge. Our hot tub in a hail storm was a memorable highlight! The location is great on the doorstep of Pooley Bridge with its many pubs and cafes, as well as being close to the shores of Ullswater and the wonderful scenery and walks. Highly recommended. We will certainly be back soon.

Our favourite site in the Lakes. Only an hours drive for us

First time at Hillcroft Park. Booking was straight forward. Location was perfect. Just out of the village of Pooley Bridge, which has three excellent pubs, shops, cafes. Walks were easily accessible from the park. The site its self, was so clean. Toilet block with facilities were emaculate! The site for tourers were spacious and private. Will definitely book again.

We were lucky to get in at Hillcroft just for one night before we were moving on. We wish that we had stayed longer as we loved the site. The pitch was sheltered with hedges which was great as it was very windy and they were so big. The shower block was fantastic. Lovely facilities, light, bright and clean with hot water constantly. We received a very friendly welcome at reception, check in was simple and quick. We will definitely come back here again and can’t recommend the site and the staff highly enough.
